What is eGIRO?

eGIRO is a digital payment authorisation service that enables parents / guardians set up recurring payments directly for your child’s / ward’s school fees and other charges.

It replaces the traditional paper-based GIRO application process and physical paperwork. The digitalised process is fast and seamless with the authorisation approved in minutes.

Application Process

The Nanyang Kindergarten’s eGIRO application runs on a secured platform.

Please have the following information ready:

1. Your child’s / ward’s Birth Certificate Number or Passport Number as provided in the NYK Enrolment Form.
2. Online banking app access and authorisation rights to the chosen bank account for the setting up of the Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) to enable payments with eGIRO.
3. Account holders from the following banks can sign up for the eGIRO scheme:

• Bank of China (BOC)
• Citibank (CITI)
• Development Bank of Singapore (DBS/POSB)
• Hongkong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC)
• Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited
• Maribank Singapore Private Limited
• Maybank (MAY)
• Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC)
• Standard Chartered Bank (SCB)
• United Overseas Bank (UOB)

Exclusions

Hardcopy GIRO application form (click here) is required for bank accounts that are excluded from the eGIRO scheme, as follows:

• All other banks not listed in point 4 above.
• Joint bank accounts that require 2 signatories.
• OCBC joint account holders.
• Bank accounts tied to the CDA (Child Development Account - Baby Bonus Scheme).
